Irish Amateur Open: Moynihan, LeBlanc share lead entering final round

Irishmen Gavin Moynihan and Kevin LeBlanc lead by four shots heading to the final round at Royal Dublin

DUBLIN, Ireland — Gavin Moynihan and Kevin LeBlanc share a four-shot lead at six-under par entering the Irish Open Amateur final round. Moynihan carded the lowest round of the tournament thus far, shooting 65 at Royal Dublin on Saturday while LeBlanc posted 68. The pair overtook second-round leader Jack Hume, who struggled to a 78 after holding a four-stroke lead at the halfway point. He fell back into a tie for 14th place. Moynihan was last year's Scottish Open Amateur winner, as was runner-up earlier this year at the Eastern Province Border Stroke Play in South Africa. Richard James of Wales and Irishman Jonathan Yates are tied for third place at two-under par, while four players, including recent Lytham Trophy runner-up Cormac Sharvin, are tied for fifth at one-under.
