MARION, Ill. (Aug. 9, 2012) -- Quinn Prchal fired a final-round 1-under 69 to win the 82nd Illinois State Amateur Championship at The Links of Kokopelli.
Prchal opened with a first-round 65 and never looked back. His third-round 66 all but sealed a two-shot victory.
Derek Meinhart nearly found his way back to the top with a final-round 66 but it wasn't enough to catch the winner.
Brian Bullington and Todd Mitchell tied for third place, three shots behind Prchal.
