Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate: ETSU maintains lead heading into the Final Round

Conor Gough of Charlotte and Algot Kleen of ETSU are tied for the individual lead at 9-under.

East Tennessee State will take a six-shot lead into the final round of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate at The Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Ga.

The Buccaneers sit at 17-under, with Washington in second place at 11-under and Georgia Tech at 10-under.

ETSU also held the first-round lead of 13-under. They were 4-under in the second round and able to maintain the lead.

Virginia is in fourth place at 6-under, and Duke is in fifth place at 4-under.

In the individual competition, first-round leader Algot Kleen of ETSU and Conor Gough of Charlotte are tied for first place at 9-under. Gough was one shot back of Kleen after the first round.

Kleen shot a second-round 4-under 68, while Gough shot a second-round 5-under 67.

Mahanth Chirravuri of Pepperdine and Omar Morales of UCLA are T3 at 8-under. Mats Ege of East Tennessee State is in solo fifth place at 6-under.

Six golfers are T6 at 4-under.
