Philipp Katich tops The Players Club qualifier

Germany’s Philipp Katich secured top spot at The Players Club after rounds of 70-69-70-67, finishing at 4-under for a one-shot victory.

Katich saved his best for the final round, closing with a 67 to edge Scotland’s Robbie Morrison and England’s Arron Edwards-Hill. Morrison made a late charge with a 5-under 65, but finished one shot short alongside Edwards-Hill.
