Bradley Sawka capped a dominant wire-to-wire performance at the 92nd Connecticut Open on Wednesday, firing a final-round 5-under 65 at Country Club of Fairfield to finish at 14-under par and claim a two-shot victory, according to the Connecticut State Golf Association.
The Ellington Ridge Country Club standout and Oklahoma signee becomes just the second amateur to win the Connecticut Open in the last three years, joining Jackson Roman, and adds the title to a résumé that already includes runner-up finishes at this year's Connecticut Amateur and low amateur honors at the 2024 Connecticut Open.
