Bradley Sawka continued his impressive run at the 92nd Connecticut Open on Tuesday, following an opening-round 4-under 66 with a 5-under 65 to move to 9-under par and take a one-shot lead into Wednesday's final round at Country Club of Fairfield, according to the Connecticut State Golf Association.

The Ellington Ridge Country Club standout wasted little time getting into red figures with a birdie at the opening hole before making his lone bogey of the day at No. 2. From there, the soon-to-be Oklahoma Sooner settled in, adding birdies at the par-3 fourth and consecutive birdies at the seventh and eighth holes to make the turn in 3-under 33.
