The 2025 San Francisco City Championship is down to the home stretch.
The men's championship match play bracket has been cut to eight golfers, and the women's championship match play bracket has been cut to the final four at TPC Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco, Calif.
Co-medalist Jack Hayden of Dublin, Calif., has advanced to the quarterfinals, but the other medalist, his brother Joey, was upset in the round of 32 by Dylan Van Ostrand 4 and 3.

Jack won his match over Roshan Chandra in 19 holes in the first round, defeated Sean Etow 3 and 2, and defeated Michael Perchak 2 up. Hayden will now take on Joshua Wang in the quarterfinals.
2024 runner-up AJ Fitzgerald, who took champion Mikey Burkland to 36 holes in the final last year, has also reached the quarterfinals. He will take on Eli Weidmann, pictured below. Burkland fell to Matthew Wotherspoon 4 and 3 in the round of 32.
The other men's championship quarterfinal matchups are Itai Cohen against Mitchell Hoey and Jayden Lizama against Angelo Marcon.
Cohen recorded the second albatross of the championship on Sunday, after Moly Meinhardt did it at Lincoln Park on Friday. Hard to find another tournament with two albatrosses in three days!
In the women's championship flight, the final four is 2024 medalist Nicole Iniakov against Lauren Gebauer and Lana Yamagata against Wa Yeung Tong.
In the Inkster flight Jennifer Serbin, a former professional golfer now competing as a mid-amateur, fell to 18-year-old Sophia Lee and Kelly Zhang defeated Norah Yang to create the first semifinal.
The Inkster flight is named after Northern California legend Julie Inkster. Sydney Silva will face Millie Wang in the other semifinal.
