Cal took a 15-shot lead into the final round over runner-up Texas Tech, and increased their lead despite a 15-under 273 by the Red Raiders. Four Bears broke 70 in the final round, led by Collin Morikawa with a 65, Sebastian Crampton at 66, Ben Doyle at 68 and K.K. Limbhasut at 69.
The win was Cal's third of the season, along with their back-to-back victories in the Alister Mackenzie Invitational and the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational in October.
The winning total for Cal was 47-under-par 817, with Texas Tech 20 shots back at 27 under. Colorado finished third at 19 under, with UCLA the only other team under par at 16 under. Kansas rounded out the top five at even-par 864.
Eckroat had the low round of the tournament, an 8-under 64, while Nilehn closed with a 65.
"Picking up my first collegiate win has been a goal of mine for a while and it's nice that it finally happened," said Crampton to Cal Athletics. "However, like the team I can definitely improve in some areas going forward."
