SANDWICH, England (July 17, 2011) -- While Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke turned back the clock to win the 2011 British Open Sunday, amateurs Tom Lewis and Peter Uihlein battled for the top spot among non-professionals. Lewis, the world's No. 2 ranked amateur, who's first-round 65 earned him a spot atop the leaderboard when Friday's second round began, came in as the Open's low amateur. He tied for 30th place at 9-over. Uihlein, the top-ranked amateur player in the world and Oklahoma State University star, finished in a tie for 48th after shooting 12-over.
