British Amateur: Lombard, Neil reach final

Portrush, County Antrim, Ireland (June 21, 2014) -- Neil Bradley and Zander Lombard both won two matches Saturday to punch their tickets to the championship match Sunday at the 2014 British Amateur Championship at Royal Portrush. Bradley knocked off Connor Syme, 2 and 1, in the semifinals following his dominant 7 and 6 win over Haraldur Magnus in the morning quarterfinal. Lombard, who hails from South Africa, defeated Paul Howard in the quarterfinal round before dispatching of Sean Towndrow, 1 up, in the afternoon semifinal. The two finalists square off in Sunday's finale, which is slated to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
