Bolton bookended the 72-hole event with rounds of 64. He finished the week at 12 under.
“This is a really nice way to end the season and to win it in such an iconic place like St Andrews is special,” Bolton told Scottish Golf. “Seeing my name next to some great players is also brilliant and a really great reward for some of the free-flowing golf I played out there this week.”
“I am going to stay amateur for another year at least and see how it goes,” he said. “Hopefully I can continue this run of form and make the Walker Cup squad in 2021.”
Matthew Clark finished in third place to finish as the top Scottish competitor in this year’s event.
