Biggadike, Franklin move on at San Francisco City Championship

Top-seed Andrew Biggadike and No. 3 Alex Franklin continued on their respective runs at TPC Harding Park

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (March 9, 2013) -- Top-seed Andrew Biggadike continued his march to the championship match at the 2013 San Francisco City Championship with a quarterfinal win. Biggadike was a 2-up winner over No. 9 Nick Ushijima. Biggadike advances to the quarterfinals where he'll take on Isaiah Salinda, the No. 29 seed, who knocked off No. 28 Nicholas Rogers, 4-and-2. Alex Franklin, the No. 3 seed and reigning amateurgolf.com Tournament Series co-Player of the Year, moved on, too. Franklin knocked off No. 6 Justin Suh, 4-and-3. In the semifinals, Franklin will tkae on No. 7 William Brueckner, who defeated Jimmy Castles in 21 holes. Semifinal action from TPC Harding Park begins Sunday morning.
