Badger Invitational: Southern Miss closes with 277 for six-shot victory

Southern Miss turned a two-shot overnight advantage into a six-shot victory at the Badger Invitational, closing with the lowest team round of the day at the University of Wisconsin Golf Course.

The Golden Eagles recorded rounds of 281-283-277 to finish at 23-under 841. Their final-round 277 was enough to pull clear of South Dakota State, which finished second at 17-under 847 following rounds of 287-279-281.
