Notre Dame senior Landon Ashcraft from Scottsdale, AZ, scorched Shadow Hills Golf Club with a 15-under 198 (67-65-66) to claim the Agave Amateur by two shots, holding firm despite bogeys at 16 and 17 in the final round.
The Texas A&M signee started Sunday tied atop the leaderboard at 10-under 132 with Calden Overfelt and Stanley Lin, then fired a 66 to pull clear. Last month, the AJGA No. 162 became Arizona’s first high school golfer to win three straight Division II state individual titles at Aguila Golf Course in Laveen, also leading Notre Dame to back-to-back team titles.
Calden Overfelt, a Santa Clara senior, chased hard with 66-66-68 for runner-up at 13-under.
The ninth Agave Amateur marked the sixth stop in the 2025-26 Troon Saguaro Amateur Series, a world-ranked circuit founded in 2017 that runs eight events this season. Next up: Grapevine Amateur at Silverado Golf Club in Napa, December 27-30.
