Connor Williams and Reagan Zibilski captured the 2025 Patriot All-America titles at The Wigwam.
Arizona State junior Connor Williams completed a wire-to-wire victory and Arkansas senior Reagan Zibilski produced a final-round comeback to win the 2025 Patriot All-America titles Wednesday at The Wigwam. Williams closed with a 4-under 66 on the Gold Course to finish at 14-under par (196), winning the Men’s Division by six shots and capping a three-round performance built on patience, smart strategy, and mistake avoidance.
Williams opened the championship with a 64 and stayed in control throughout the week, limiting himself to just three bogeys while totaling 17 birdies. Illinois’ Ryan Voois finished solo second at 8-under (202) after rounds of 68-68-66. Pepperdine’s Mahanth Chirravuri and Florida’s Parker Bell tied for third at 7-under (203), with Florida’s Matthew Kress rounding out the top five at 6-under (204).
On the Blue Course, Zibilski erased a three-shot deficit entering the final round to win by one at 6-under par (204) with a closing 66, marking her first Patriot Women’s Division title after four appearances. Zibilski’s steady progression of 70-68-66 set up a charge on the back nine, and her sixth birdie of the day on the par-3 17th provided the decisive separation.
USC’s Kylie Chong, the 36-hole leader, and 2023 champion Tillie Claggett of Vanderbilt finished tied for second at 5-under (205). Kansas’ Amy DeKock and Arizona’s Nena Wongthanavimok tied for fourth at 4-under (206), capping a deep women’s leaderboard that remained tight until late on Wednesday.
Nearby at Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club in Surprise, Middle Tennessee redshirt sophomore Connor Henry won the Thunderbolt after forcing a playoff with Oregon State’s Rylan Johnson. Henry fired a final-round 6-under 65 to reach the lead, then won on the first playoff hole with a par. Johnson, who had set the Thunderbolt course and tournament record with an 8-under 63 in Round 2, matched Henry’s late push to send it to extra holes.
Across all three leaderboards, the week once again blended elite amateur competition with the Patriot’s mission to honor fallen and wounded service members and first responders. With players carrying commemorative PING bags representing heroes throughout the championship, the 2025 Patriot All-America delivered both championship moments and a lasting tribute beyond the scorecard.

Join AmateurGolf.comThe Patriot brings men’s and women’s divisions together in one championship week, showcasing many of the top players in college golf. The men compete on The Wigwam’s Gold Course, while the women play the Blue Course, two championship layouts that have helped make this event a can’t-miss stop on the year-end amateur calendar.
Over time, the Patriot has continued to grow in stature, regularly attracting a national collection of PING All-Americans and standout players from across NCAA Divisions I, II and III, along with NAIA and NJCAA programs and select special invitees. With deep fields and a demanding 54-hole format, the tournament has become a measuring stick for the next wave of talent.
In addition to the Patriot, the Thunderbolt is being contested on the same dates as a companion championship. Played at Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club in Surprise, Arizona, the Thunderbolt was created to accommodate additional elite players who met initial eligibility standards but did not make the Patriot field.
Named after the Air Force P-47 Thunderbolt, the event has quickly become a significant tournament in its own right. The Thunderbolt field includes top-ranked amateurs and collegiate standouts, and its players also represent fallen or wounded heroes, with biographies attached to their bags in support of Folds of Honor.
Last year’s Patriot featured record-setting performances. In the women’s division, University of Texas senior Bohyun Park closed with a final-round 63 to set a Patriot Women’s Division scoring record, finishing at 15-under par (195) to win the Folded Flag trophy.
In the men’s division, Ole Miss junior Cameron Tankersley finished at 10-under par (200), winning by three shots after steady play across the Gold Course.
At Sterling Grove, University of Denver’s Zander Grant captured the 2024 Thunderbolt title at 10-under par (206), securing the win with a final-round 70 and edging Midwestern State’s Seth Bearden by one shot.
With first-round action underway today, the Patriot All-America once again blends world-class amateur competition with a week-long tribute that adds meaning to every round. Over the next three days, the men’s and women’s leaderboards will take shape at The Wigwam while the Thunderbolt unfolds in Surprise — all within an event that continues to grow as one of the premier year-end championships in amateur golf.
