Cui made birdies on holes No. 10, 12, and 13 to take the lead and secure the win at Del Monte Golf Club

Edan Cui made three birdies and no bogeys on the back nine en route to winning the Christmas Classic at Del Monte Golf Club at 7-under with rounds of 66-71.
Cui thrived on the back nine over the weekend, tallying 8 birdies and no bogeys. He made birdies on holes No. 10, 12, and 13 to take the lead and secure the win.
“I love coming back to Del Monte,” said Cui. “I haven’t played here in about two years, and the greens are known to be super tricky. I love playing here.”
Cui had William Chang chasing him who shot a pair of 69’s to finish at 6-under for the tournament.
“Now I know I have what it takes, and it was really good practice,” said Cui.
Erica Villegas won the Women’s Division out of Suisun. Villegas flipped the script after shooting an opening round 10-over 82 and buried five birdies to shoot even-par 72 on Sunday.
In the Senior Division, Russell Humphrey outlasted the bunch in a 1-over outing with rounds of 74-71. Humphrey made birdies on holes No. 1, 11, 13, 17.
The Mid-Am Division saw a 3-hole playoff between Billy Candler and Sean Etow. Candler edged out Etow on the third hole with three straight pars.
Finally, in the Super Senior Division, Brady Donoghue won by five shots at 6-over with rounds of 73-77. He was able to bounce back from a triple bogey on the second hole.
