Alexis Leray, a graduate of Laval University in Canada, wins his third title of the season in Belgium
Alexis Leray of Saint-Jean de Braye, France, secured a commanding five-shot victory at the Belgian International Amateur Championship held at the National Golf Club Brussels. Leray, an alumnus of Laval University in Canada, finished with an impressive 13-under 275, carding rounds of 67-71-69-68 to maintain his lead from start to finish.
In 2024, Leray competed in eight ranked events, securing two additional victories at the Coupe Frayssineau Mouchy and the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud - Coup Cachard held in France.
The championship featured 144 amateur golfers from eleven countries, including Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, South Africa, Finland, England, Japan, and Luxembourg.
