For the second straight season, The Mississippi standout wins the stroke play while South Carolina is the top seed for match play
Julia Lopez Ramirez of Mississippi State is on top of the conference once again.
The Mississippi State standout finished 10-under, winning over the field by three shots. Lopez Ramirez shot rounds of 67-68-65 to get to 10-under, and her final round, 5-under 65, was good enough to pull away from the field. She recorded seven birdies and two bogeys, including birdies on holes No. 5, 6, and 7, and Nos. 12, 13, and 14.
Lopez Ramirez is currently ranked No. 4 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com Women's Rankings.

Louise Rydqvist of South Carolina finished in solo second place at 7-under, and Laney Frye of Kentucky finished in solo third place at 6-under. Freshman and 2022 ANWA winner Anna Davis of Auburn finished in solo fourth place at 4-under, and world amateur No. 1 Ingrid Lindblad of LSU finished in solo fifth place at 3-under.
Adela Cernousek of Texas A&M and Hannah Darling of South Carolina finished T6 at 2-under.
In the team competition, South Carolina earned the No. 1 seed in the match play portion.
Auburn finished in solo second place at even par, 2023 champions Texas A&M finished in solo third place at 3-over, and 2023 runner-up Mississippi State finished in solo fourth place at 8-over.
Kentucky finished in solo fifth place at 13-over, and Arkansas finished in solo sixth place at 17-over. Georgia finished in solo seventh place at 21-over, and LSU finished in solo eighth place at 23-over.
As the match play portion begins Monday, here are the first-round matchups:
