COMPLETE: 2024 U.S. Amateur Local Qualifying
The USGA has announced the dates and venues for its 43 Local Qualifying sites across 31 states, with one each in Mexico and Canada, scheduled from June 5 to July 3, 2024. Entries will open on March 27, and entries will close on May 29.

For the first time, qualifying for the U.S. Amateur will consist of two rounds instead of one 36-hole qualifier. The Final Qualifying rounds will occur from July 17 to August, spanning 19 sites across 15 states.

The U.S. Amateur Championship is set to occur at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, from August 12 to 18, 2024.

This marks the second occasion that the tournament will be hosted at this venue. The first was in 2006 when Richie Ramsay of Scotland secured the championship title with a 4 & 2 victory over John Kelly.

Nick Dunlap won the 2023 U.S. Amateur, propelling him into the fall season at Alabama, where he excelled and earned a sponsor invite into the American Express PGA Tour event. He won the event and subsequently turned professional.
