Harry Reynolds wins 90th South Carolina Amateur Championship

The rising senior at Indiana returns home to earn a three-stroke victory at the DeBordieu Colony Country Club
The rising senior at Indiana survived a nervy start which resulted in a pair of bogeys on his first three holes, but quickly regained his composure with birdies on holes 4, 5, 7 and 9 en route to a final round 71 and a winning score of 8-under 280.
With none of his pursuers able to make a Sunday charge, Reynolds rode a rollercoaster final round to a three stroke victory over Harry Augustein and Kyle Bearden, who finished at 5-under 283.
“I got off to a nervous start with a couple bogeys early on,” Reynolds said. “I managed to get things turned around and I think I turned at two-under. I had four birdies on the front nine and then kept the momentum going with some birdies early on the back nine. "It is such a blessing to be the champion. I am so happy to be a part of the history of South Carolina Golf and have my name on that trophy forever. It hasn’t quite sunk in yet, but it just really feels so awesome.”Harry Reynolds is currently leading! He is 2-under today thru 9.
