About the tournament

54-hole stroke play season-ending championship of the Golfweek Amateur Tour.

The top players in all of the Local Tours around the country, based on the points earned during the season, are awarded the opportunity to compete in the National Tour Championship. Players finishing the season in the top ten points standings (and ties) in the Champ & D Flights and the top 15 points standings in the A, B & C Flights of their Local Tour qualify for the National Tour Championship. To be eligible for the Tour National Championship, players must have competed and returned valid scores for at least least 4 tournament rounds.

The Tour Championship is held in Hilton Head, SC, and draws over 800 players from around the country.
