About the tournament

The Donald Ross Junior Championship was established in 1947 as a memorial to famed Scottish golf course architect Donald Ross. More than 200 high school boys and girls come to Pinehurst every December to compete for this coveted title. Fun twist -- the day after the event there is an additional Parent-Child competition for the contestants across all three age divisions.
