About the tournament
The Patrick Reed AJGA Junior Championship is a storied event on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) schedule, honoring 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed, who began hosting the tournament in 2014. With roots dating back to 1985, when it debuted as the AJGA Woodlands Junior Golf Classic, this tournament has a long-standing tradition of showcasing top junior talent.
Now bearing the name of one of its most accomplished alumni, the event provides a highly competitive platform for junior golfers to test their skills in a championship setting.
Tournament Facts
Players must be AJGA members and gain entry via the Performance Based Entry (PBE) system based on accumulated Performance Stars from tournament results. Players may also qualify through the associated AJGA Qualifier event. Entry requires being ages 12-19, amateur status, and not yet graduated high school or started college.
