Bell National Series - Sarah Schmelzel Tradition

The Sarah Schmelzel Tradition is a spring-season event on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKBGT), featuring competition in the Bell National and Futures National divisions. The 36-hole tournament brings together a competitive national field and serves as a key qualifying opportunity within the PKBGT competitive pathway.

This event functions as an LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Championship qualifier, with top finishers in each division earning invitations to compete at the LPGA*USGA Girls Championship later in the season. Players also compete for PKBGT Performance Index points, Order of Merit multipliers, and National Tournament of Champions invitations, making the Sarah Schmelzel Tradition a high-impact event on the PKBGT calendar.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKBGT), an initiative of the non-profit Girls Golf of America, is the nation’s only LPGA Foundation Approved girls-only tour. Through a structured Progression Pathway built on yardage-based divisions, the PKBGT supports long-term player development while offering more than 110 events annually across national and regional circuits for girls ages 9–19.
