The San Diego City Amateur Championship returns to Torrey Pines for 54 holes of stroke play across three competitive flights. Round 1 takes place at the North Course, while the championship concludes on the South Course—host of the 2008 and 2021 U.S. Opens—where coastal conditions and firm greens will test shot-making and course management.
Open to amateur golfers 18+. Men's flight: handicap index 4.0 or less; Senior (50+): 6.0 or less; Women's: 9.0 or less. No residency requirement.
Men's Flight - Open to all male amateur golfers. Must have a current index of 4.0 or less as of June 4, through an active membership in an SCGA or USGA club or index system. Open to all male amateur golfers 50 years of age and over (age as of the tournament start date). Must have a current index of 6.0 or less as of June 4, through an active membership in an SCGA or USGA club or index system. Open to all female amateur golfers. Must have a current index of 9.0 or less as of June 4, through an active membership in an SCGA or USGA club or index system.
