Parker Sisk claims four-shot San Diego City victory

A year after finishing fourth at Torrey Pines, Sisk comes back for the win.

Parker Sisk will roll into his sophomore season at San Jose State as the San Diego City Amateur champion. Sisk, whose twin brother Cameron plays for Arizona State, logged rounds of 68-69 over the weekend at Torrey Pines’ South Course in La Jolla, Calif., for a 7-under total and a four-shot victory.

Sisk had a one-shot lead after his opening 68. He birdied the first and last holes on Sunday to secure his victory. He was one of only three men to finish 36 holes under par.

Blaine Staggs was runner-up at 3 under and Tyle Kerston was third another shot back.

Sisk finished fourth at the 2018 San Diego City. He played 12 rounds with the team this season at San Jose State, with his best finish a T-40 at the Husky Invitational.
