The West Penn Golf Association amateurs extended their winning run in the Palmer Cup, defeating the Tri-State Section PGA of America professionals 8-6 at Latrobe Country Club.
The victory gave the WPGA its fourth consecutive Palmer Cup, following wins in 2023, 2024 and 2025. The Tri-State professionals still hold a 19-10-2 advantage in the all-time series.
