Brogden takes Women's Eastern Senior

AIKEN, S.C. (Oct. 21, 2010) - Pat Brogden from Garner, North Carolina maintained her steady play and seven shot lead to win the 2010 Women's Eastern Senior Amateur Championship. Brogden's rounds of 71-74-76 at the Houndslake Country Club gave her a three day total 221 which outpaced Peg Brady of Stanley, North Carolina who shot a twelve over par total 228. Barbara Pagana of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania was third with a 232. The super senior division was won by Claudeen Lindberg of Atlanta, Georgia with three day total of 246.
