Blades Brown has spent the last few years rewriting the record book, and he added another line at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. At just over 19 years and 4 months old, Brown is the youngest player ever to graduate to the PGA Tour through the Korn Ferry Tour. It caps a season in which he had already earned Special Temporary Membership on the PGA Tour.
Brown's 2026 included a round of 60 in Palm Springs in January, a third-place finish at the Puerto Rico Open in March and eight top-10 finishes across the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour. He finished ninth in the season-long Korn Ferry Tour standings.
AmateurGolf.com readers watched it build. Brown won the AJGA Junior Invitational in 2023, then shot 64 to share stroke-play medalist honors at the U.S. Amateur at age 16, the youngest medalist in championship history. He was medalist again at the 2024 U.S. Junior, was named AJGA Player of the Year, and turned professional at 17, debuting at The American Express in January 2025. Now he's headed to the PGA Tour at 19.

The Quantum lineup is built around Callaway's new Tri-Force Face, which layers three materials – titanium, a poly mesh and carbon fiber – into a single integrated face. The thin titanium is there for speed, the poly mesh is a military-grade polymer that binds the layers together, and the carbon fiber reinforces the structure so the face can flex more and recover faster. According to Callaway, that multi-material construction has never been used in a driver face before.
Tommy Morrison: Tour bound
Brown wasn't the only Callaway player in the top 10 of the final standings. Tommy Morrison, who turned professional this summer, needed only a few months to lock up his card for 2027, posting a win and five top-10 finishes.
