Westbrook Invitational: Missouri shoots 37-under to claim team title

Freshman Ebba Liljeberg leads Missouri as Tigers win at Westbrook Village.

The No. 35 Missouri women’s golf team shot 37-under and pulled away late to win the Westbrook Invitational by two shots at Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Arizona.

Missouri closed with a tournament best 17-under 271, finishing 277-279-271 (827) for the week. Host Arizona pushed to the end but settled for second at 35 under 829, posting 276 278 275.

The win continues a big run for the Tigers. It is Missouri’s third team title of the season, its most in a single year since the 2004 to 05 campaign. The Tigers’ previous two wins came in back to back victories in September 2025, lifting the team titles at the Sam Golden Invitational and the Johnnie Imes Invitational.

Kansas, the tournament’s champion in each of the last two editions, finished fifth at 24-under.

Individually, Kansas State senior Noa van Beek of the Netherlands claimed medalist honors at 14-under 202 with rounds of 64-71-67, edging Kansas junior Lyla Louderbaugh by one shot. Louderbaugh finished 13 under 203 after 67-70-66.

Missouri backed its team win with depth, placing four players inside the top 20. Freshman Ebba Liljeberg paced the Tigers again, finishing third at 12-under 204 with rounds of 69-70-65, her fourth top-five result of the season. Liljeberg already has an individual win this year, taking the Sam Golden Invitational title.

Senior Jade Zamora T-11th at 7-under 209 (69-69-71). Junior Fleur van Beek (67-73-70) and freshman Addie Surber (69-72-69) shared 16th at 6-under 210.

Senior Melanie Walker rounded out the scoring for Missouri, finishing 21st at 4-under 212 and contributing a closing 70 as the Tigers finished the job.
