Walker holds slim lead at North & South Senior

PINEHURST, N.C. (August 6, 2014) — There have only been four under-par rounds thus far at the 2014 North & South Senior Amateur, and current leader George Walker was one of them at Pinehurst's Course No. 5 on Wednesday. After sharing the lead with two others after Tuesday's round one at 74, Walker fired a two-under par 70 to edge ahead of Robert Parmar heading into Thursday. Walker made just one bogey in his second round, coming on the par-four 10th hole. Parmar, who also shared the lead with Walker after day one, shot a one-under par 71 and is in solo second place, two strokes ahead of David Prokop and Ronald Kilby in third.
