THE COLONY, Texas (March 17, 2014) -- Ted Waldrip of Arlington shot 69-79 and hung on for a two-shot win at the The Tribute, site of the Texas Golf Association's Medalist North Series opener.
Originally scheduled for last month, the event was held this past weekend.
Waldrip's 3-under 69 on Saturday was the lowest score of the event and provided him with just enough of a cushion to win despite a struggle on Sunday.
Taylor Grant was second after rounds of 77-73 while James Glenn shot 75-77 to take solo third.
