Davis DeLille of High Point, N.C., led a strong amateur showing at the 62nd North Carolina Open, finishing T-2 overall and earning low-amateur honors at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro.
A recent East Carolina University graduate, DeLille posted rounds of 68-68-66 to finish at 14-under 202, just two shots behind the winning total. His closing 6-under 66 secured a share of second place against a field featuring both professionals and amateurs.
