Germany’s Tim Wiedemeyer is the 2026 European Amateur Champion, closing out a commanding wire-to-wire week at Linna Golf in Harviala, Finland with a final-round 68 to reach 13 under par (271) and win by two strokes.

After opening with a level-par 73, Wiedemeyer ignited his week with back-to-back 65s in rounds two and three to seize control of the championship. A composed 68 (-3) on Saturday was more than enough to hold off the field, leaving the Netherlands’ Nevill Ruiter to settle for runner-up at 11 under after his own steady closing 68.
