1. Andrew Bailey wins the U.S. Mid-Amateur

Two weeks ago, Andrew Bailey was the last man into the Championship Flight at the Crump Cup. As the 16 seed at Pine Valley he knocked out medalist Gregor Orlando, then lost his quarterfinal to Stewart Hagestad. On Thursday at Sand Valley, he walked off The Lido as the national champion.
