All eyes then turned to the match between Texas A&M's Zoe Slaughter and Surapa Janthamunee of Mississippi State.
Slaughter was 3 up in the match through seven holes, but Janthamunee won holes 8 and 14 to pull to within one and tied the match with a birdie on 17.
The two players then halved the next three holes before Slaughter delivered the championship point with a two-foot par putt on the 21st hole to hand the Aggies their first conference title since 2015.
