Miles McConnell of Tampa, Fla., turned a tight final-round battle into a four-shot victory at the Sunnehanna Senior Amateur Championship, finishing at 4-under 136 at Sunnehanna Country Club.
McConnell entered the final round with a three-shot advantage after opening with a 6-under 64, matching the championship's 18-hole scoring record. But Jason Pridmore of Ventura, Calif., erased the deficit, and the two were tied at 3-under with eight holes remaining.
