PEACHTREE CITY, GA (May 4, 2016) - Kingston, GA resident Larry Clark defeated two others in a playoff to win the Super Senior Division of the 2016 Society of Seniors John Kline. Clark, Chris Maletis and Don Marsh all ended the third round at Planterra Ridge Golf Club with 218 strokes.
With today's victory Clark continued his successful amateur career. His most recent rankings finishes were a pair of six place ties in 2014. He was also the winner of the 2006 Inverness Senior & Mid-Amateur.
Maletis (Portland, OR ) and Marsh (Johns Creek, GA) ended up tying for second place while Bill Leonard (Kennesaw, GA) and Gary Kirwan (McKinney, TX) finished tied for fourth
In the Grand Master Division Harry Cain of Boynton Beach, FL won by four-strokes over Don Wood (Louisville, KY). Jim Ono (San Jose, CA) was third.
