WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 5, 2013) -- Pete Allen shot a first-round 70 and leads by three shots at the 2013 Society of Seniors Spring Classic at Ironhorse Country Club.
Allen leads two players in second after first-round 73s. Jim Lehman and Joe Hackler are each three shots back while Dennis Helms sits fourth at 74.
In the Super Senior Division, three players are tied atop the leaderboard.
Carlos Salaber, Charles Bagby and Pat Vincelli all shot opening-round 72s and lead a top-heavy leaderboard.
All told there are 15 players inside of four shots off the lead.
