Six-time champs: Korths win another Tennessee Father/Son

Paul and Wes Korth win a three team player to put their name on the trophy for the sixth time

FAIRFIELD GLAD, Tenn. (June 15, 2014) -- A three-team playoff was needed to determine this year’s Tennessee Father-Son Championship which was conducted at Stonehenge Golf Club in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. The playoff consisted of first round leaders Trey and Bryce Lewis, Bryan and Bryce Kendrick and five-time champions of the event, Paul and Wes Korth. Trey and Bryce Lewis were eliminated on the first playoff hole and when Paul and Wes Korth both made par on the second playoff hole, they were crowned champions of the 35th Annual Tennessee Father-Son Championship. Paul and Wes Korth fired a final round of 75 points to finish at 142 and claim their spot in the playoff. The win marks their sixth win in this event and fifth out of the last seven years. They also won this championship in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012. (story and photo courtesy Tennessee G.A.)
