Scarlett Schremmer had already shown she could win with a championship hanging on the last hole. At the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, she showed what happens when she keeps pressing for three days.
The Miami sophomore shot 67-66-66 at Red Sky Golf Club’s Fazio Course in Wolcott, Colorado, finishing at 17-under 199 on September 23 for her second collegiate victory of the fall. Three weeks after collecting her first college title at the Boilermaker Classic, she had another trophy and the second-lowest 54-hole individual total in Hurricanes history.
