Santa Barbara Classic: Eagle chip seals it

An eagle chip-in on the 18th hole led to the winning team avoiding a five-way playoff

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Aug. 5, 2012) -- Scotty Helton helped his team avoid a five-way playoff by chipping in for eagle-3 on the par-5 18th hole at Santa Barbara Golf Club. The team of Helton-Helton grossed 125 for the two-day total, beating out runners-up Martin-McMahon, Colvin-Hogan, Gama-Garcia and Downing-Scott. Other flight winners included: Gallagher-Pope, Gibbons-Morley and Chaffin-Bristol.
