The 2020 San Francisco City championships kicked off at Lincoln Park with 125 players teeing it up for Open Flight qualifying.
The field was split, with half playing on Saturday and half Sunday.
The field will now be split into four match play brackets of 32, with medalist Keelan Cole the top overall seed. Cole shot a 72 on Saturday, with Carter Tetherow the second seed after a 73 on Sunday.
The match play phase of the Open Flights championship will begin at Lincoln Park Golf Course next weekend. The semifinal and final rounds will be played at TPC Harding Park Golf Course on Feb. 29 and March 1.
The five other San Francisco City divisions will begin later this month, with the Men's Pre-Qualifier and Qualifier teeing off Feb. 14-16. Senior qualifying follows on February 18, with Super Senior and qualifying held the next day.
Feb. 19 is also the date of the first Women's Senior match play round.
The Women's qualifying is the final division to tee off, with qualifying held on Feb. 22.
