FLORENCE, Ariz. (June 17, 2013) -- Grant Cesarek survived a three-hole playoff to defeat Tom Sweigart and win the 2013 Arizona Southern Amateur at Poston Butte.
Cesarak fired rounds of 68-72 to finish the 36-holes of regulation tied with Sweigart before prevailing in the sudden-death playoff.
Sweigart shot a red-hot 65 to move from seven shots out into a playoff on Sunday.
Cesarek held the first-round lead with his opening 68.
Trey Martin was third at 69-72--141.
