The 55th edition of this mid-am staple saw three teams dueling on the back nine in the final round of the Cypress Creek Course.
It took scores of 64-67-68-68 for Ferries and Chabaud to reach 17-under par. The winning duo made 25 birdies over the course of the 72 holes event.
Both chasing teams shot 34 on the opening nine holes. Kerr and Parker, the defending champions, pulled into a tie and O'Brien and Vogt were sitting one shot back.
Kerr and Parker were able to muster one birdie on the 14th hole without any bogeys while O'Brien and Vogt shot even par on the back with one birdie and one bogey.
Down the stretch, Chabaud and Ferries made birdies on hole nos. 13, 14, and 16. A bogey on the 17th hole added to the drama on 18, but pars for all three teams involved left Chabaud and Ferries on the top of the leaderboard by a shot.
This is the first win for Chabaud and Ferries in the Champions Cup.
