Ronald and David DeNunzio combined to shoot 69-64-144--277 to win by a shot at the 2014 Baltusrol Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. (July 19, 2014) -- Ronald and David DeNunzio combined to shoot 69-64-144--277 to win by a shot at the 2014 Baltusrol Invitational. The DeNunzio twins shot a remarkable 64 in the foursomes competition, which set them apart from the field.

Keith Unkel and Mike Pearson, representing Congressional Country Club, took solo second place. Tied for third was Michael Affeldt and Michael Castleforte of Butler National and the team of Frank Fairman and Nathan Smith, the four-time U.S. Mid-Amateur champion, who were both representing Punxsutawney Country Club.

The format was Four-Ball and Foursomes on the first day on the Upper Course, playing at 7,089 yards and 6,606 yards, respectively, with both at par 71. The second day on the Lower Course is an Aggregate score of the two-man team played from 7,139 yards with a par of 70 for a total 72-hole par of 282.
