Romo wins Wisconsin Senior by one

Ramiro Romo's 73 on Tuesday was good enough to win the Wisconsin Senior Amateur by a stroke

WEST BEND, Wisc. (Aug. 27, 2013) — Ramiro Romo trailed first-round leader Jim Covelli by one heading into Tuesday's final round. He took advantage of Covelli's 75 on Tuesday to win the Wisconsin Senior Amateur, shooting 71-73. Romo bogeyed his first two holes, but went two-under his next 16 holes to win the tournament by one. Covelli finished in a tie for second place with Mark Bemowski at 145.
