Robert Gill wins Wyoming Senior Amateur by one

Four players were clearly the best over the weekend at the Wyoming Senior Amateur, but Robert Gill prevailed by a single stroke

Gillette, Wy. (September 7, 2014) — Four players were under par after 36 holes at the Wyoming Senior Amateur as the group beat the rest of the field by six or more shots. But it was Robert Gill who prevailed to take home the title going 70-69. Gill trailed by a stroke to Jim Marshall after the first round, but with Marshall shooting 72 on Sunday, Gill's 69 propelled him to a one-shot win over John Hornbeck, who also shot 69 on Sunday. Marshall finished in a tie for third place with Mark Isakson two shots behind Gill at 141.
