Rismiller, Murray combine for Kansas Senior Four-Ball title

An 8-under total gave the pair a four-shot victory over past champions Bryan Norton and Mark Addington.

MISSION HILLS, Kan. (Nov. 1, 2018) – David Rismiller and Matt Murray led wire-to-wire to win the 30th KGA Senior Four-Ball Championship on Thursday.

Rismiller and Murray combined to post a final-round 3-under 67 to go with their first-round 5-under 65. An 8-under total gave them a four-shot victory over the team of Bryan Norton and Mark Addington. Norton is the reigning Kansas Senior Amateur champion. Norton and Addington shot even-par 70 in the final round to finish with a 4-under 136 total.

Addington and Norton combined to win this title in 2013.

Propelled by a final-round 5-under par 65, the Wichita team of Mike Caster and Robert Donovan took third at 2-under 138.

Salina's Greg Goode teamed up with Topeka's Mark Elliott to take fourth at even par 140.

In the Super Senior Division, Don Kuehn and Dave Harris added to the trophy case with another victory. Kuehn and Harris posted back-to-back rounds of 2-under 68 to edge Bob Bezek and David Hamilton by one shot. Kuehn has been a part of one winning super-senior side and two winning senior sides over the past 14 years.

The teams of Ron Brewer and Fred Rowland and Bill Quattlebaum and Ben York tied for third at 1-over 141.
