Richard Donegan captures Palm Beach Bobby Bryant Championship

Richard Donegan took the lead on Saturday with 1-under 70 and then closed out the Palm Balm Mid-Senior with an even-par 71 in the second round

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (September 18, 2016) -- Richard Donegan took the lead on Saturday with a 1-under 70 and then closed out the Palm Balm Bobby Bryant Championship with an even-par 71 in the second round. Playing at Mayacoo Lakes Country Club Donegan finished one-stroke in front of a trio of player who finished tied for second at even-par. The group included Robbie Wright, Michael Blum and Scott Wilson. In the first round Donegan birdied six holes but also bogeyed three and double-bogeyed one. During the second round Donegan stumbled out of the gates with four bogeys in the first six holes before rebounding with four birdies to return to red figures. Rounding out the top-five was fifth place finisher Charlie Stubbs who was 2-over.
