Rachel Rossel wins by a stroke in Italian International Golf Championship

PULA, ITALY (March 20, 2016)--Rachel Rossel (+3) took home the crown in the Italian International Golf Championship at Is Molas Golf Club thanks to one shot victory over three pursuers at 4-over par. The event was shortened to just 54-holes due to inclement weather. Rossel, of Switzerland, began the day with a one stroke lead and despite struggling to a 3-over par 75 in the final round she was able to hang on for the victory. Rossel registered 14 pars and three bogeys in the final round. Alessia Nobilio, Nina Lang and Caterina Don all finished at 4-over par for the tournament, one behind Rossel. Barbara Borin, Federica Torre and Xiaolin Tian were 5-over par and tied for fifth.
